Social Prescribing
Social Prescribing is an NHS England programme supporting people in South Gloucestershire to improve their quality of life and wellbeing.
Social Prescribing Link Workers work with people to identify ‘What Matters to Me?’ They help people achieve their goals by linking them to local groups or services for practical and emotional support. For example, advice for benefits, debt, employment or housing, groups for socialising or getting creative, or support to get more active.
